BrightonSEO’s October 2025 edition delivered once again! With AI search dominating conversations across the industry (and showing no signs of slowing down), expectations were pretty much sky-high.
In my opinion, the organizers rose to the challenge beautifully, curating a program that helped search marketers navigate change with confidence. The mix of beginner-friendly and advanced talks, combined with plenty of networking opportunities and that signature SEO humor that we just love, made for two exceptional days.
A special milestone: the first Italian Networking Meetup 🇮🇹
This edition held special significance for me, as I organized the conference’s first-ever Italian Networking Meetup as a fringe event on the first night.
The idea sparked at April’s edition when I mentioned to a fellow Italian attendee: “It’d be so nice to have a meetup here like the Dutch do, they always seem to have so much fun.”
His response? “Why don’t you do it?”
My reply: “You know what, why not.”
Having organized events in the past and genuinely loving it, the decision was easy.
Six months later, with a sponsor secured and a bit of promotion in place, 20 people joined us for an Italian-style aperitivo at a local pub. Big success!
Moderating the SEO & AI Roundtable
The following morning, bright and early, I also moderated the SEO & AI roundtable discussion at the conference.
Between learning, community building, and endless networking, I had one of those moments where you stop and realize:
I’m incredibly lucky to be doing things I love, surrounded by people who inspire me.
The career I want? I’m still figuring it out and that’s perfectly ok. For now I’m enjoying discovering it step by step. ❤️

SEO Cast: Mike King Interview
A deep dive into highlights from Mike’s keynote, “The AI Search Playbook.”
His key message really resonated:
It’s not just about SEO anymore. AI demands we reframe our thinking.
The tactics may be familiar, but the systems and the value exchanges have changed.
My Interview on SEO Cast
Yes, there’s actually my own interview too!
BrightonSEO: Emma Moletto over Gen-Z, AI SEO en de Italiaanse SEO community.
You can hear from the very first words that I was nervous (big mic), but I’m still proud of that little interview, and of representing the growing Italian SEO community!
Of course, ChatGPT couldn’t wait two more days before launching its own search engine, Atlas. Time to dive in and test!
